Champ Patel began his hotel career with a small 49-unit independent property in 1979 in Blythe, CA.  In 1980 he moved to Weatherford, OK and began building the Champion hotels portfolio, which has grown to over 80 hotels in 30 years.  As CEO of Champion hotels, Mr. Patel has utilized his experience and relationships to develop and grow Champion Hotels to one of the largest hotel owner, management and development companies in Oklahoma. Mr. Patel has received many awards and accolades within the hotel industry, such as the Award of Excellence from the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, and Developer of the Year from Choice Hotels & La Quinta Hotels.
